  • Act III, Scene V
  • "... Paris, at Saint Peter´s Church, shall happily make thee there a joyful bride" (Act III, scene V, line 114).
  • Act IV, Scene I
  • "Shall Romeo by my letters know our drift, and hither shall he come..." (Act IV, scene I, line 114).
  • Act IV, Scene II
  • The next morning, after their wedding night, Romeo leaves to Mantua. Meanwhile, Juliet is told she will marry Paris on Thursday.
  • Act IV, Scene III
  • Juliet goes to Friar Laurence and he has the idea of giving Juliet a poison that will make her look dead for two days before marring Paris. They will burry her and Romeo will rescue her before she wakes up. Then they will run away to Mantua together.
  • Act IV, Scene IV
  • Lord Capulet is arranging Juliet´s wedding.
  • Act IV, Scene V
  • "My child, my only life, revive, look up, or I will die with thee!" (Act IV, scene V, line 17).
  • Juliet drinks the poison.
  • While Capulet is arranging the wedding, Paris arrives.
  • "Go waken Juliet, go and trim her up; I'll go chat with Paris..." (Act IV, scene V, line 24).
  • The nurse, Paris, and Juliet's family find Juliet laying in her bed and think she is dead. Then, Friar Laurence arrives.
  • "... Every one prepare to follow this fair coarse unto her grave..." (Act IV, scene V, line 88).
