President truman issued executive orders to desegregate the military and discrimination in the u.s armed forces. This was only the start to end segregation in the services. it was the end of race,religion,national origin,color.
1957 Integration Of Little Rock High School In Arkansa
Justice Garl Warren delivered the unanimous ruling in the landmark civil rights case state sanctioned segregation of public schools was a violation of the 14th amendment and unconstitutional. This concluded that blacks and whites were unequal therefore unconstitutional.
1960 lunch counter sit ins
Rosa Parks sparked a boycott when she refused to give up her seat when a white woman approached her. The boycott lasted 13 months of mass protest eventually ended with the u.s supreme court ruling that segregation on public buses was now unconstitutional.
1965 Affirmative Action
The desegregation of little rock arkansa ged national attention. Orval Faubus mobilized arkansa national guard in an effort to prevent 9 african americans students from integrating the high school. When the u.s decided to step in and give the 9 students military protection because of the riots that white people were causing to the 9 african students and they were being screamed at and spit and and called racial slurs.

The goal was to get as many african americans together so that when they fill the jail cells more keep integrating the counters until they cant do anything about it anymore.
