- A good setting in the story is the track.
- I chose the track because is a place to take out all the frustration and concrete on one thing. Winning. She trains her life to win everything and when she lost second we can see how she changes out through the story too. Running is very important to Patina, which means that the track where her team practices and the park where meets are held are an important part of her story. For Patty, running is “a way to shut people up, sometimes shut herself as well!! She becomes the anchor on her relay team, signifying how she is. With the help of Coach, she is beginning to think beyond herself and be part of a team.
