  • A Trip To The 1920s
  • The 1920s decade introduced credit, or the idea of "buy now pay later." This allowed for some to live better or more lavish lifestyles than the ones they had 
  • Flappers decided to adopt new fashions and attitudes of the decade
  • And were open to a variety of things to do for fun. Including women! Before this time women were busied with housework, but women known as flappers broke these norms.
  • The 20s also had a ban on alcoholic beverages. It was not allowed to be made, sold, or bought in the US.
  • NO ALCOHOL !!
  • violators will be prosecuted
  • As a result people went to illegal  and hidden bars known as speakeasies to drink  away from the eyes of law enforcement.
  • 60 Home Runs
  • Americans also gained interest in following and playing sports. The 20s most famous athlete would be known as Babe Ruth, a baseball player for the Yankees
