Here you can see the process when the water in the pot changes from a liquid to a gas because of the heat of the stove. This is called evaporation.
The water vapor from the kitchen has come out through the window outside. Now some of that vapor ends up on the leaves/petals of the flower and goes up into the atmosphere . This is called transpiration.
Here, the water droplets in the clouds are falling from the atmosphere in form of rain, sleet, snow, or hail. This is called precipitation.
The water vapor goes up into the sky into a cloud.
The wind cools off the water in the atmosphere changing the vapor into a liquid. This process is called condensation.
Here you can see the water falling from the atmosphere as rain, and you can see there is rivers of rain water flowing back to the ocean this process is called runoff. Now that the water is in the ocean it will be heated by the sun and the cycle will start all over again.
