  • The Upper Class
  • The Upper Middle Class
  • The Lower Middle Class
  • Consists of people who have power and influence.  They are usually of "old money," meaning they were born into wealth or can be newly rich by their own effort.
  • The Working Class 
  • This class consists of people with a college degree, with a high income job like those of a business person and professionals. They make will enough money to buy what they desire, and live a comfortable life.
  • The Working Poor 
  • Consists of people who have less education, they hold white collar jobs. They can live comfortable, but they have to work really hard to keep that. 
  • The Underclass
  • Usually people in this class, are blue-collar workers with jobs that require manual labor. They make very little savings. 
  • This class consist of people who tend to rely on government programs as they rarely make a living wage. This class has the lowest paying jobs that are seasonal. 
  • People in this class have a day to day struggle, as they work sometimes but have a very low income. There primary source of income is from public assistances.
