  • The symbolism for chapter one Lennie and George make the most of their situation as they have no place to call home moving around a lot. Chapter one really captures their daily struggles and the reality of a day in their lives. George and lennie have nothing but the clothes on their back and each othermaking anywhere they are special to them.
  • George and lennie relationship throughout the chapter is a very strong bond between the two. Nothing makes George stay with Lennie and help him everything he does is by choice George we can see something holding an attachment to lennie.their relationship builds the story and keeps the reader interested
  • Lennie is a young child stuck in the life of a grown man with responsibilities making it difficult to adapt and control himself. All lennie knows is George and his aunt Clara who he hasn't seen in years.Lennie struggles with his strength showing his affection to animals is never ending well for him.him. Lennie believes he and George will own a farm when in reality that cant or never will be his reality
