  • Hello! This is Mali which is a kingdom located in West Africa. Our Kingdom became powerful because we grew rich from a trade of gold-for-salt trade. The leader of our kingdom is Mansa Musa
  • Hi there! This is Songhai Kingdom which is located in West Africa. This kingdom was not as powerful as Mali's but when Mansa Musa passed we started to become powerful. Another reason on how we became powerful was that we well-trained army and navy that was patrolling Niger River. After all of that we eventually fell to the Moroccans, who sized the salt mines and had destroyed the empire at the end of 1500s
  • Hey! Welcome to the Coastal Kingdoms.This is West Africa. We all became powerful by practicing slavery. And by buying enslaved people. We traded with Portugal, Spain and Great Britain. Our kingdom eventually fell because when Europeans outlawed the slave trade, the kingdoms' economies began to fail.
