Where are we visiting first?
Her goal for the trip was to visit as many locations. The magazine company she works for wanted a article of her experience in Kenya. It was her chance to get an article published.
We are visiting a small village in Southern Kenya.
Wally got to meet two siblings. Their names were Christine and Jane. The older sister was taking care of her little brother. Both of their parents had died years earlier.
Wally realized how bad it was in Kenya. There wasn't enough resources for them. Especially water, which was the most important resource.
Wally couldn't stop thinking about the situation back in the village. She decided to do something about it.
What could I do?
As soon as she got back to New York, Wally decided to write the article about the importance of water. She wrote how they could help them by donating.
After publishing Wally donated money and learned a lesson to appreciated the little things. A year and a half passed and her article was published in the New York Times.
