After a long and rough fight with the fish, the teen in a struggle between his crush or the bass, the narrator decides to cut the line...
After the party, Sheila went off in Eric Caswell's Corvette, leaving the narrator regretting his decision of her "crush" over a trophy bass...
By the end of the story, the narrator describes than to this day he is still haunted by the lost bass. Still, he never made the same mistake again in his life.The End
