There are four kinds of snakes in this jungle. Two kinds of snakes have bright colors and the other two kinds do not have bright colors.
Eagles arrive the jungle and start to prey on snakes.
The eagles start to prey on snakes that have bright colors, which are easier to spot in the jungle. The snakes that do not have bright colors, on the other hand, are safer from the eagles.
Most colorful snakes are eaten by eagles, and the less colorful snakes survived. However, the eagles start to hunt green snakes now, as they are easier to spot on the muddy ground.
As a result, the green snakes decrease in population and the brown snakes thrive.
At last, the original four kinds of snakes had gone through natural selection, which the brown snakes at last thrive and outlive other types of snakes.
