• A square root is a specific number that you get when you multiply a number by itself.

• ﻿Good question Jenny! A cubed root is a number you receive when you cube a number. Cubing a number is the same as multiplying a number by itself three times.
• ﻿And the cubed root of 512 is 8?
• So the square root of 81 is 9?
• Yeah, You're getting it.
