  • I'm tired of working I need a break.
  • Things are not like they used to be Agnes . They are  boring I want a new  start. I think its best  you leave tomorrow.
  • Fine I wanted to leave.
  • 
  • Its  1840 in America  the econmy is thriving due to the mens hard work in factories. 100 percent of women work at home tending to the mans   needs.
  • Sure try a swing at it. A lady like you might be able to put a chip in it.
  • That looks better than slaving over a pot  of stew. I want to try.
  • 
  • Agnes is a  middle aged  stay at home   woman.  She  follows the same routine day in and day out like all other woman at the time.
  • I never have seen anyone do anything like that!
  • The next day Agnes left town, to go to Porter to find a new husband.
  • Thank you Agnes you had inspired us to go work for ourselves thank you.

  • When Agnes left  the next day  she walked  past a lumber jack. She stared in amazement.
  • 
  • Determined, Agnes  swung the axe in one  mighty swing. She had chopped the tree down in one go. The lumberjack looked amazed.
  • When Agnes had arrived at the end of the road she made it to Porter. Everyone had heard of her magnificant 1 swing chop. All the women in Porter welcomed and thanked her for teaching them that women are also strong.
