  • Woodrow Wilson had plans on reforming America and making it a greater and safer place for people to live.
  • Big Step in the Judicial System
  • In his youth he went through the civil war. As a kid he had union troops storm through his town, and his mother tended to the wounded warriors that were injured close by.
  • Helping Mexico... Kind of
  • Woodrow Wilson started off his adult life, with a PhD in political science at Johns Hopkins University. Which set him in motion to become president of the United States.
  • Peace Conference 1919
  • Despite all opposition, and not much people on his side. He pushed for Louis Brandeis to become high court, and he came out on top and Louis go the job.
  • Wilson told Mexico that they need to have democratic elections, and not have the tyrannies anymore. But this led to Mexican government getting angry and to start a war. But in the end led to Mexico finding their spot on the food chain.
  • Woodrow Wilson was the first president to travel to Europe while in office. While he was there he negotiated a peace treaty at Paris. Stopping fighting for quite a while.
