  • In the poem the narrator is comparing and contrasting two roads and deciding  which to take. The poem also uses some imagery and a lot of metaphors.
  • Imagery examples:"Two roads diverge", "Bent in the undergrowth", "Grassy and wanted wear", "In leaves no step had trodden black."
  • Rhyme Scheme-ABAAB
  • The theme: Just because everyone else does one thing doesn't mean you can't or shouldnt' do another thing.
