There was nothing but water on earth until The Goddess Lai made sun and hung it up. The Sun dried up some water and created land. Lai also had a god bird named Birdu
The sun caused there to be more life. Plants and flowers were growing in and out of the water but the sun was too strong and drying the plants so Lai created clouds to make it less sunny. There was also animal life underwater and on land
That night it started to rain and a great storm came, from the lighting bolt, humans were created
Birdu was the animal god of night, he created the moon, stars, and planets, so that humans would be able to see in the dark and see galaxies and constellations
The people thanked the Gods for helping to create them and giving them what they needed. Lai Also created caves where the humans could live
Not long after, the Gods said they had to leave and left the humans to take care of earth. The Gods still look over the humans. The humans look up at the sun and remember Lai while they look at the moon and remember Birdu
