Storyboard Text

  • 4.3.15
  • "I have a faint cold fear thrills through my veins/ That almost freeze up the heat of life."
  • 4.1.82-86
  • "Or shut me nightly in a charnel house,/ O' ercovered quite with dead men's rattling bones,/ With reeky shanks and yellow chapless skulls;/ Or bid me go into a new-made grave/ And hide me with a dead man in his shroud--"
  • Hath death lain with thy wife. There she lies,/ Flower as she was, deflowered by him./ Death is my son-in-law. Death is my heir.
  • 4.5.36-38
  • This quote is expressing Juliet's feelings about what might happen when she drinks the vial that Friar gave her. Juliet thinks about what the vial could be and if the Friar is trying to kill her.
  • 4.5.36-38
  • Juliet describes the graves as wet, smelly flesh, and skulls without jawbones. She also tells the Friar to tell her to go down into a grace full of flesh and hide her with a dead man in his grave.
  • 3.1.81-85
  • "Draw, Benvolio. Beat down their weapons./ Gentlemen, for shame! Forbear this outrage./ Hold Tybalt, Good Mercutio!"
  • Lord Capulet uses personification on Juliet's "death," because he expresses himself in the quote above that it is his fault that Juliet died because she is apart of a cursed family that has lots of enemies. Also, Lord Capulet compares Juliet to a flower and he has deflowered Juliet.
  • 4.5.128
  • "I say, "silver sound" because musicians sound for silver."
  • This scene is showing that Juliet is "the sweetest flower of all the field" that was killed by "untimely frost." This means that Juliet is a beautiful flower that was killed by unseasonal frost. Also Juliets skin is very white like the color of frost.
  • "Death lies on her like an untimely frost/ Upon the sweetest flower of all the field."
  • I would blame Tybalt for starting this fight and for the death of Mercutio. Before this fight was happening Tybalt was antagonizing Mercutio and Tybalt used Romeo's name several times. Mercutio is very close friends with Romeo so then he gets upset so he starts to defend Romeo.
  • In act 5, the musicians are used as comic relief. The musicians are joking around with Peter because he is sad and asked the musicians to play a song. Then they start to sing the song that he asked them to play. Peter asks the musicians why they say "silver sound." The musicians answer him and Peter thinks that is a stupid reason.
