  • NATIVISM vs EMPIRICISMa short story :)
  • Rene Decartes
  • Hi, I'm Rene Decartes. You've probably heard of me..
  • If not then let me introduce myself...I was a French philosopher, mathematician, and scientist :)
  • So basically I believed that human beings enter the world with an inborn store of knowledge and understanding of reality.
  • One thing I believed in is nativism which is the thesis that human beings possess at least some substantive knowledge innately.
  • Hello there, my name is John Locke. I've come to tell you what I think about Decartes' belief !
  • Nativism is a crap theory!!! My explanation of human behaviour is Empiricism.
  • John Locke
  • There are no innate ideas that are with us when we are born. At birth we are a blank slate, or tabula rasa in Latin.
  • Empiricism is the theory that all knowledge is based on experience derived from the senses.
  • He always thinks he's right!
  • The End
  • Nativism... as if!
