  • What no way! Maybe you can climb in through a window with the help of a ladder.
  • I forgot my keys and my parents aren't home and i need to change to run around the block as my daily exercise.
  • Lets use the Pthagorean theorem.
  • I want to measure the how long the ladder is to see how many ft i will be walking up the ladder for my daily exercise.
  • c^2
  • b^2
  • a^2
  • Its when a the square of a hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the sqaure of the other two sides.
  • Whats the Pythgorean Theorem?
  • Lets measure the sides of the right triangle created.
  • c^2=?
  • a^2 =1 in
  • b^2=2 in
  • Now that we have the sides measured, we have to figure out the c^2 side which is supposed to be a^2 and b^2 together.
  • If a^2= 1 ft and b^2= 2 ftthen that means that c^2=3 ft.
  • Thank you for the idea and helping me find out out how many feet i walked up today using the Pythagorean Theorom.
  • Your welcome! The Pythagorean Theorem is very useful.
