- 20 YEARS AGO,BOB AND JIMMY MADE AN AGREEMENT THAT THEY'LL MEET IN THE BIG JOE'S BRANDY'S RESTAURANT.
- AFTER 20 YEARS
- At exactly 10 o'clock when the policeman approached the mysterious man.
- It's okay officer ,I'm waiting for a friend because we agreed to meet here 20 years ago.
- That Big Joe's Brandy's Restaurant had been torn down 5 years ago.
- After a while a man approached Bob and introduced himself as Jimmy. Then started a small talk.
- You've been under arrest Silky Bob. Before we go to the station, here's a note I was asked to hand you. From Patrolman Wells.
- Hey, you're not Jimmy Wells. Twenty years is a long time, but not long enough to change the shape of a man's nose from a roman to a pug.
- Bob, I was at the appointed place on time. When you struck the match to light your cigar, I saw it was the face of the man wanted in Chicago. Somehow, I couldn't do it myself, so I went around and got a plainclothes man to do the job.-Jimmy
- In the story, the two friends became different for every years that have been passed. Even though they didn't saw each other for a very long time, Jimmy Wells chose the right thing. They are now in the opposite sides of the law, because Bob turned into a bad guy. But Jimmy just did his job as a policeman, and asked another cop to do his job.
