  • A Red River Settler leader, Otherwise known as the member of the Canadian Party thinks to himself about overthrowing the provisional government soon after it was established.
  • BE QUIET AN KEEP MOVING!!

  • The Canadian Party agrees to overthrow them
  • ....,.......And that is how I can prove him guilty
  • In their attempt to overthrow the Provisional Government, the Canadian Government was captured by many Metis People
  • Scott was a difficult prisoner, often insulting his metis guards
  • Riel then held a court to try  Scott for contempt, or disobediance of the provisional government
  • Scott was proven guilty, so he was sent to jail, and from there, executed in March 1870
