I did not hate the old man; I even loved him. He had never hurt me. I did not want his money. I think it was his eye.
Time to die!
The narrator has finally made up his mind and decided to kill the old man. He wants to do this because of his "Vulture Eye". He knows that the man has never done anything wrong but he still has the urge to kill him.
After seven nights of creeping into the old mans home, he finally completes his plan. He gets the old man on the floor and pulls the mattress on top of him and suffocates him to death.
Yall got rat poison?
The narrator takes the limp dead body and amputates his body parts. Arms and legs are cut off. He places them underneath the old mans floor boards.
Emily lived on the last house on the block. All the other houses were taken down. She hasnt left her house since her father died. She has a "servant" do her errands. She believes that she does not have to pay taxes because a person told her a while ago but little does she know that that person has passed away. This lady is clearly confused.
Emily later goes out to buy arsenic rat poison. No one knew why she did.
Emily believed that she had to marry Homer. She did not know that Homer was gay but when she found out, she murdered him. She left Homer in her home for years. It was also revealed that she was sleeping with his dead body!
