  • French Revolution: Introduction
  • Factors that led to the Revolution
  • Meeting of the Estates General
  • The french Revolution lasted from 1789-1799 and had allowed people of the lower classes to have more say in the government.  Before this, the third estate had no say and paid high taxes in food and money.
  • The Tennis Court Oath
  • The Revolution was started from people of the third estate trying to have more "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity".  Each class had one vote.  The first class was 1% of the population, while the second had 2%.  The other 97% also had one vote, but due to the imbalance of population (3% vs 97%), the high estates always got their way.
  • The storming of the Bastille
