Storyboard Text

  • Antigone: Ismene, I am asking you to help me in burring our brother Polyneices. He's our brother and he needs and deserves a proper burial.
  • Ismene: Are you crazy? Do you even have a clue what trouble we'd get into? I'm sorry, Creon has forbidden Polyneices' burial, and so I will not give my help in doing so.
  • Servant: Hey! What you doing? Get over here your not supposed to be doing that. Creon's going to punish you for this.
  • Antigone: (to herself) If no one shall help me then I'm fine doing it myself. How can they forbid such a righteous act?
  • Creon: Ohh why? Why didn't I just listen to Tierisias? It all my fault, there's nobody else to blame because all these were caused by my thoughts and actions.
  • In the beginning, Antigone has a plan to bury her brother Polyneices and is asking for her sisters, Ismene, help. Ismene refuses to help Antigone because she is aware and frightened by the consequences they're possible to face. Unlike Antigone, Ismene obeys the laws of man.
  • I'm not playing this time! last time i let it slide but not this time. I'm calling the police!
  • Hey man! C'mon now, whats in your pockets?
  • I have nothing! (false innocence)
  • Later on, Antigone proceeds with her plan although Ismene's help isn't provided. Antigone obeys the laws of the Gods and she thinks that burring her brother is nothing to be punished for. The Servant then captures Antigone for what she has done that was forbidden by Creon.
  • He stole again. I let it go last time but I'm getting tired of it!
  • What did he do this time?
  • I'm sorry! Please forgive me, it won't happen again!
  • Lastly, Antigone's death occurs leading to Haemon's death and that leads to the death of Eurydice. Creon is then categorized as a tragic hero because he then realizes that he is responsible for the deaths that have occurred. When he realizes his guilt, he take full responsibility and knows that it's only right that he faces the punishment.
  • When i get out of here I'm not messing up anymore!
