Exposition: The setting is set in Paris in the summer of 1800's at an old house in the Rue Morgue. Monsieur Dupin is a detective.
Conflict: The battle in Dupin's mind to put all the clues together to find out who the murder is.
Rising Action: Two bodies are found deceased, a mother and a daughter. Dupin finds clues that help him predict what could of happened at the crime scene.
Climax: A sailor talks to Dupin and explains who the murderer is.
This is what happened on the night...
Falling Action: The murderer was an orangutan. The orangutan was scared so it attacked the two women in self defense. The animal used its instincts for protection.
Resolution: The murderer was discovered to be an orangutan. The police release Le Bon, an innocent man who was accused for the murders.
