Ancient romans had something called a colosseum, it was used to entertain Roman citizens by having combats and animal fights.
The colosseum was made out of concrete, stone, and bricks. It took more than 1.1 Million tons of those materials to complete it!
The development of the Roman civilization was affected by their geography. They had the Tiber River for fresh water, bathing, and trade. They also were surrounded by 7 hills as a natural defensive barrier. ----------------------------> There is a picture of how it looks like...
