  • "Throw your mistempered weapons to the ground and hear the sentence of your moved prince. Three civil brawls... have trice disturbed the quiet peace. If you ever disturb our streets again, your lives shall pay forfeit of the peace."
  • "Two Capulet servants joke and brag. When they happen to meet servants from the rival house of Montague, a quarrel begins that grows into an ugly street fight"  Act 1 - Scene 1
  • "But now, my lord, what say you to my suit?"
  • The Prince of Verona personally separates the fight and gives the grave warning of death. Act 1 - Scene 1
  • This, by his voice, should be a Montague. Now, by the stock and honor of my kin, to strike 
  • "Many a morning [Romeo] hath he been seen, with tears augmenting the fresh morning's dew, adding to clouds more clouds with his deep sighs." Act 1 - Scene 1
