I decided on this career because the dental field was always appealing to me and within the people that know me I am known to be very friendly which is an advantage within this job field. I wish to help people have healthy teeth every day.
Why did you decide to become a dental hygienist?
Yes, I consider myself a team player because I have always had great communication skills and I can work within a group.
Do you consider yourself a team player?
My biggest strengths include getting along with patients and making them feel comfortable during their visit. I'm also highly efficient with technology such as computer systems and Microsoft word and excel. I have great skills within the x-ray taking field and managing patients. One of my weaknesses is dealing with numbers, however, I am taking a night course at Gordon college that is helping me overcome my weakness and turn it into a strength.

Here at happy smiles are values are simple we want to ensure the health and happiness of both our patients and our employees. We want our workers to become the best they can be at their job.

What do you see as the most challenging aspect of this job?
It would have to be dealing with younger patients. Many of our younger patients are scared to see the dentist and they may cause a commotion.
