Storyboard Text

  • Now, listen my children, this is an important lesson. This is the story of Apollo and Phaeton and how they denote the dangers of taking on too much responsibility too early
  • In this story, the Sun king, Apollos, son Phaeton, asks to drive the Suns chariot through the sky.
  • But the boy cannot control the chariot because he is too young and inexperienced.
  • The result is that Earth becomes parched with drought in some places.....
  • and frozen in others
  • This explained a season of drought or a period of unusually cold weather, but it also taught the community about the problems of granting a child's wish too hastily.
