  • Scene 1: What happened 
  • I am done with you. I don't want to be your friend.
  • Kenzie
  • This is all my fault! If i didn't tell her that she was being rude this wouldn't have happened
  • Scene 2: Feelings
  • How could i have let this happen! I'm so stupid, why don't I think before saying something.
  • Scene 3: Behavior & Impact 
  • HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT GRRRR
  • Hey want's all the racket going on. WOW you look crazy!
  • Sarah has gotten in an argument with her best friend Kenzie. She was mad at her because she was being rude to another one of their friends. Kenzie got upset because Sarah is on her friend's side. Kenzie told Sarah that she doesn't want to be friends anymore.   
  • Scene 4: Self-Awareness 
  • Oh no what have in done! I let my anger overpower me and hurt someone because I couldn't control my emotions
  • After Sarah gets upset she gets mad at herself for letting this happen. She is so disappointed in herself for making Kenzie mad and leading her to say she does not want to be friends anymore.    
  • Scene 5: Regulation 
  • Sarah sits down with  her pets and listens to some songs she likes  to try and clam down.
  • Sarah's brother walks in and says something that gets Sarah even madder than she already was! She throws her phone at his face!   
  • I'm so sorry I hit you. I was very angry and took my anger out on you and I didn't mean to and i'm very sorry.
  • Sarah has realized what she has done. She feels so bad for what she has done. She feels horrible for hurting her brother and being rude to her friend. 
  • Some strategies Sarah could have tried in scene 2 is to try some meditation to stay calm in the situation. If she had done that then she might not have gotten so mad at her brother. She could have had thoughts like "it's all going to be ok, we will calm down and talk it out later"
  • Sarah apologizes to her brother for hitting him and explains how she didn't mean to do it. She decides it will be a good idea to see Kenzie in person so she resolves the situation in person and not over text.
