Man I really miss the good ol' United States.
I wouldn't know. I'm from Puerto Rico.
Oh wow, so how is it being a Puerto Rican soldier representing the US?
Well it feels scary because some Vietcong dude is probably hiding in that bush. But I think it's even worse because I have faced a lot of discrimination here.
Dude that sucks! It's ok even though I'm white I promise I'm not racist.
Thanks, I appreciate that! The discrimination isn't good at all. I've had to only hang around with the other Puerto Rican soldiers. You're the only white guy I've been friends with my entire time here. Well, let's hope we can get out of this war ASAP because all of us, disregarding race, are scared more than anything.
