So class can anyone tell me what is Newton's First Law of Motion?

Alright go ahead Ayla
Oh oh I know!
Newton's First Law of motion states that any object in motion will stay in
motion and any object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.
For example a little girl rolls a ball, the ball is in motion and it will keep being in motion until the ball is acted upon by an outside/unbalanced force.
The ball accidentally hits dog, causing the ball to stop, the dog in this case is the outside force that caused the ball to stop.
Thank you Ayla, that was a great explanation.
