  • So class can anyone tell me what is Newton's First Law of Motion?
  • Newton's First Law of Motion By: Anna Z. 3rd pd
  • Alright go ahead Ayla
  • Oh oh I know!
  • Newton's First Law of motion states that any object in motion will stay in
  • motion and any object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force.
  • For example a little girl rolls a ball, the ball is in motion and it will keep being in motion until the ball is acted upon by an outside/unbalanced force.
  • The ball accidentally hits dog, causing the ball to stop, the dog in this case is the outside force that caused the ball to stop.
  • Thank you Ayla, that was a great explanation.
