Hamlet contemplates killing Claudius, but decides against it as he thinks Claudius is praying and Hamlet does not want him to go to heaven.

Hamlet meets Gertrude in her chamber. Polonius hides behind the arras. Hamlet chastises Gertrude for marrying Claudius. When Hamlet realises there is someone behind the arras, he stabs them, hoping it is Claudius.
How now! A rat? Dead for a ducat, dead!

Rosencratz and Guildenstern are to accompany Hamlet to England. Claudius has given them letters for the King of England telling him to kill Hamlet.
Hamlet ... everything is bent/For England.
Laertes returns after his father's death. Claudius and Laertes plot to kill Hamlet (again). Gertrude tells Laertes that Ophelia has died.
Revenge should have no bounds.

Hamlet and Laertes have a fencing match. Gertrude is poisoned by something Hamlet was supposed to drink from. Laertes tells Hamlet what happened. Hamlet kills Claudius. Laertes dies. Hamlet tells Horatio that Fortinbras is to be King. Hamlet dies.
Fortinbras arrives, and finds the room full of dead bodies. Horatio explains what happened. Fortinbras is King.
