  • Oh good! It has a clear subject!
  • Email Do
  • Ms. Cindy, Unfortunately I cannot make it to school tomorow due to the fact that I am sick. Could you send me any makeup work that I could do from home? Thanks in advance, Anna Custer
  • Email Do
  • Dear Ms. Cindy, I am sick today, so I just wanted to inform that my homework will be a day late.  Thanks for your time, Anna Custer
  • Your email should ALWAYS have a subject. You should make it so that the person receiving the email will know what it is about.
  • Email Dont
  •
  • [no subject]
  • What is this email about????
  • Ms Cindy, I am out sick because I have bronchitis. I went to the doctor and they told me to stay home for a week. They gave me so much medicine to take and it sucks! Can you send me any work I will miss? Thanks girl!
  • Any email you send should be short and to the point. There is no reason to give extra information.
  • Email Dont
  • Too much information!!
  • An email should have a greeting at the beginning of the email to who it is directed to and a salutation that completes it. It should also have proper grammar and punctuation and should sound proffessional.
  • Email Dont
  • Yo Ms. Cindy I am soooo sick today bc my stupid sister got me sick. Can you believe it??? Anyway just wanted to tell ya my hw will b late. ttyl Anna Custer
  • If you do not put a subject, most likely the person will just skip over it. You should put a subject so it sticks out to the person.
  • In an email, you should always get straight to the point. You should not put any details or personal information. Any other extra information is unnecessary.
  • In an email, your greeting and salutation should be professional. Your email should not include any slang or abbreviations because that makes the email sound very childish.
