  • Sam is living a happy life in San Bernardo valley in California. She is very close to her father who she adores. and, every night they read books and she dreams of going to Princeton. Her dad tells her to "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from paying the game."

  •  Dear Princetongirl,  Please email back. Were you upset when you found out I was Austin Ames?
  • Sams father remarries and now Sam has step sisters.  Then an earthquake come and Sams dad died in it. Her step mom gets rich and she makes Sam her slave. Her stepmom also doesn't support her going to Princeton where she dreams of going.

  • In this example of opposite perspective Rhonda works but runs the restaurant while Fiona doesn't know hope to run it and makes everyone do it for her. Another example of opposite perspective is Sam is poor and not popular while Austin is rich and popular.
