Storyboard Text

  • Why are we giving Mino our people?
  • Father, why are they getting on that boat?
  •  I must stop this at once!
  • They have to go to Crete by the king's orders.
  • That is what keeps us safe from the Minotaur.
  • I agree but be safe my son.
  • Theseus dressed up as one of the sacrifices and was ready to save his people and kill the beast.
  • Determined, Theseus vowed that when he saves everyone he will change the black sails to white, showing that they were victorious and alive.
  • When Theseus arrived in Crete, king Minos daughter also wanted to save the innocent people so she went to the aid of the prince, guiding him through the labyrinth with a sword and string.
  • Together, the 2 fought the beast. The battle ended with Theseus killing the Minotaur and the princess getting him safely out of the maze and back to the citizens saved.
  • Theseus left Crete victorious, saving everyone. In height of all the joy, Theseus forgot the promise he had given his father and left the sail black. When his dad saw, he died of sadness for his son.
