Storyboard Text

  • Moses and the 10 Commandments By Annalise
  • This looks like a good spot to camp for a few days.
  • Yes it does. Let's start setting up for the night because we are losing light.
  • Moses in 3 days I will go to speak to the people and tell them my 10 commandments that I want my people to follow to live a life free from sin.
  • Bible Reference: Exodus 19:20-21, 24-25,20:1-3, 12-21,24
  • Lord I am making my way to you.
  • The Israelite's have now been traveling for 3 months on foot.
  • I am the Lord your God, and these are my commandments, to be obeyed by all my people.  You shall worship no other God but me. You shall not make any statue or picture to worship. You shall not speak the name of the Lord except with reverence. You shall keep the sabbath, the seventh day, as a holy day of rest, for in six days I made the world, but on the seventh day I rested. You shall show respect to your Father and Mother. You shall not commit murder. You shall not be unfaithful to your husband or wife. You shall not steal. You shall not speak falsely against others. You shall not envy another person's possession's."
  • Do not be afraid the Lord has come to us so we learn his commandments and live a life free of sin.
  • Moses went to pray to God, God then told him the he himself would speak to the people in 3 days.
  • We are still scared.
  • The third morning there was a huge storm. It was thundering lighting and raining. God then called Moses
  •     God gives Moses the ten Commandments
  • Moses then went back up the Mountain again all by himself because the Israelite's were still scared to go.
