Days have been weeks, weeks became months, Months turned into years (10 years later)
I graduated as a marketing agent. And was given an opportunity to fly to UK. Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I am going to see Alex once again. And boy was I excited! And so, I went home, told my family about it, arranged my papers, packed my things and planned ways to look for my childhood best friend.
First things first, I have to take my beauty rest.
And so the search begins, Madi looked and asked for Alex everywhere. She went to his address given to her 10 years ago. But unfortunately, Alex was nowhere to be found. She lost hope. And decided to call it a day.
Is this UK? IS THIS REAL? AM I DREAMING? I AM FLABBERGASTED.
Alex! Where are you? You're really annoying. UGHH WHY ARE GUYS ONLY GOOD AT FIRST, THEN THEY WILL LEAVE YOU HANGING. AAAAA ALEX! IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU, FOR 10 YEARS. I EVEN CHOSE YOU THAN MY WORK.
Then a familiar face showed up.
Excuse me? What are you doing? Do I know you? Have we met before?
Huh??? ? Alex is that you?!? OMG I've been looking for you everywhere!! This is Madi!! YOUR CHILDHOOD BESTFRIEND!! YOUR NEIGHBOR!! THE ONE WHO WAITED FOR YOU FOR !0 YEARS!! HOW HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? *tries to give a peck on his cheek*
In London, one of the things you must not do is greeting people with a kiss. They only kiss people who are close friends or relatives.
Huh?!?! Don't you remember me? I'm certainly sure that you're my childhood best friend, Alex. How can you forgot me? I thought we're best friends forever? *accidentally spits saliva *
Huh? What are you saying? I can’t even understand nor remember you. And please oh my god *removes the spit* Can you please not spit in a public place?
I really don't get it How can you forget about me? Your BFF.
Also, do not spit. Spitting in front of a person or in the street is considered to be very bad mannered and a sign of disrespect.
I’m sorry but who are you again? *He gives his business card* That is my number. Just call me okay? I have to go, I’m in a rush and I have a meeting to attend to.
