  •  The Battle of Fort Sumter was in Charleston, South Carolina April 12-13, 1861. In this war, there were 132 casualties. The Union evacuated the fort witch lead to Confederate victory.
  • The Second Battle of Bull Run
  • This war was in Virgina July 21, 1861, and the Union started an attack. The union was disorganized and that was why the Confederates won. In the result of this war, there were 4,878 casualties.
  • The Battle of Antietam 
  • The Battle of Shiloh was located in Tennesse April 6-7, 1862. In this war the confederates general was wounded in this war. The Union won this war but it was very deadly. In the war there were over 10,000 casualties.
  • The Battle of Gettysburg
  • This war was in Virginia August 28-30, 1862 and the Union attacked the Confederates. This war ended as a win for the Confederates. This was also very deadly because there were 22,000 in that war.
  • The Battle of Antietam was located in Maryland September 17,1862. In this battle, the Confederates fled which was counted as a victory for the Union. This win lead to the Emancipation Proclamation. It wasn't easy because there were 23,000 casualties.
  • This battle was in Pennsylvania on July 1-3, 1863 and the Confederate general attacked the Union but failed. The Union won this war and that resulted into the Gettysburg Address. In this war there were 23,000 casualties.
