I just want her to find someone whom she truly loves.
In the years of the 1300s, two families, in their alikeness and differentness, battled head-to-head in a lifelong feud. Their names were the Capulets & the Montagues.
Romeo, the son of Montague, was left heartbroken because his lover, Rosaline, had not returned his affections. He mourned for her love and locked himself away from the love from his family and friends.
Meanwhile, Paris, a kins of the Prince, attempts Juliet's, the daughter of Capulet, hand in marriage. He asks Capulet permission to marry her, but he refuses and asks Paris to wait two years because Juliet is still too young.
Capulet sends a servant with a list of names to invite to a masquerade ball. He invites Paris in hopes that he and Juliet will grow closer.
Romeo and Benvolio, Romeo's cousin, discuss Rosaline. Benvolio tells him to forget about her and find another to love. As this is happening, they run into the servant with the masquerade ball list. Romeo studies the list and finds Rosaline's name on it.
