Different cultures have so many different Sun Gods because the sun represents life and light, to which a God provides both of those things so people depended on the beliefs of Sun Gods ruling over their world and praised them. Without Sun Gods, there would be no significant figure to praise for the light that encircled around the world and let human, animal, and plant life continue to prosper and grow. The Sun Gods were made for a reasoning over the world's life and ruled over the humans as eternal beings like the sun was an eternal flame.
Apollo Son of Zeus. Reowned as god of light, sun, music, archery, and prophecy.
Liza Him and his sister, Mawu, created the universe together with the help of Da, a serpent.
Tonatiuh The fifth sun. Aztecs performed human sacrifices to make him strong.
Re Eqyptian sun god. Made humans from his tears and in the image of his flesh.
Hou Yi Archer that shot down nine of the ten suns to save the world.
Main differences between the Sun Gods would be the way they are honored and the things they've done to support the Earth. Tonatiuh had humans sacrificed to him while other gods were just praised. Re made people with his tears to contribute to the world while no other Sun God made humans.
