The Seven Years' war (1756–1763) also led to wars in India.
1857: The first rebellion against the rule of the East India Company...
...got brutally suppressed.
Against colonial rule!
By the year 1763, the East India Company managed to control most of the Indian sub-continent
Result: The British government took control over India.
