Seneca Falls convention was the first women's rights convention, held in seneca falls NY, and spanned over 2 days. july 19-20th 1848. The convention organizers, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott were also active in the abolitionist movement.
sojourner truth was an african american abolitionist and womens rights activist. In her speech, she states "ain't i a woman?" because she isn't treated like one in the norms of society.
