Storyboard Text

  • According to myth, Daedalous and Icarus were trapped on an island where the only way out would be up. Daedalous created two pairs on golden wings, held together by waxfor their escape. Daedalous warned Icarus to avoid flying too close to either the hot sun or the ocean's salty spray. Once in the air, Icarus became far too excited, and, ignoring his father's warning, flew too close to the sun. His wings fell apart and he plummeted to his death.
