Graduation Make Up Classes
Algebra Comic Project
To get the answer for x, you have to find out what you need to multiply by 2 to get 16. Who knows the answer and can explain it to the class?
The three of you need to get at least an A- to pass this class and graduate.
I know! The Golden Rule is to do the same thing on one on the other side too.
You need to isolate the variable. So you need to divide the 2 by itself to get rid of it. Then you divide the 16 by 2.
You end up with x=8.
Does any want to answer this one?
That's correct! Good job you two.
One thing my good friend here didn't explain, was that you need to think of the order of operations.
You also have to multiply the 7 by 3. You'll be left with n=21.
You need to multiply the 3 by 3 to get rid of it, which would isolate the n.
