Storyboard Text

  • Why chameleons can change color
  • There was a time where some chameleons could change color and some couldn't. Meet Linda and Heather, Linda can't change color, but Heather can.
  • An Eagle comes along and can see Linda from a distance. Heather quickly changes color before the Eagle can see her.
  • The eagle unfortunately eats Linda, but Heather survives because of her ability to change color. Slowly the number of chameleons who cannot change color begin to disapear as they become prey to predators.
  • The chameleons who can change color are more fit since they now don't have to compete for food and other necessities. and they grow and multiply while chameleons who can't change color die off.
  • Over time chameleons who can't change color become extinct. Heather's species of chameleons thrive because of their ability to adapt to the environment and protect themselves
