I was pushed out onto the stage to save the play. Once we finished the play we were all so excited. Everyone was smiling except Charlotte. I walked over to her and gave her a huge hug and apologized.
We walked into the dressing room together which had been decorated with balloons and flowers. I picked up a thing of flowers and handed them to Charlotte. "Congratulations, Charlotte!" I shouted. She smiled so big. She gave me a huge hug and said thank you.
"I'm sorry. I overreacted. I'm glad you tried out for the play. You should come to acting practice with me. We have a great time there." I told her. "I'd love to go!" She replied with excitement.
After that day Charlotte and I acted in every play together. Sometimes I got the lead and sometimes she got the lead, but we were always happy for each other.
