It’s Friday evening and Paul Adderley wants to vote in the upcoming EU referendum.
He has just finished work for the day and is currently about to have dinner with his family, this Included his wife and four children. During dinner Paul's children ask him to watch a film with them in the living room as a Friday treat. The film will last for around two hours.
With time being very limited, Paul knows that in order to vote in today's EU Referendum he would have to pick between watching a film with his children or voting in today's referendum. One of the reasons because of this is that the closest polling station is too far away.
Once logged into his account Paul loads up the 'voting' page by clicking on the button labelled ‘Vote’ in the in the middle of the 'welcome' page. Next, Paul uses the drop down menu to find the election he wishes to vote in. Knowing who he's going to vote for, Paul selects and submits his vote.
Due to the efficiency of the new voting system, Paul heads to the lounge just in time to watch the film with his children.
The next day Paul checks on the results of the election / referendum. He searches for the election / referendum using its name and is presented with a graph showing the winner clearly.
