  • I'm a citizen!
  • I'm a citizen!
  • I'm a citizen!
  • IF WE CAN GO TO WAR, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO VOTE!
  • HEY! YOU CAN'T DO THAT!
  • AND YOUR BAIL IS SET AT $15 TRILLION!
  • The 14th Amendment granted citizenship to everyone in the US, despite race or pre-existing enslavement or servitude. This amendment was employed to force southern states to treat former slaves as citizens after emancipation.
  • Good news, gents! We can drink now!
  • Pfft... Great. We already are.
  • The 29th Amendment changed the legal voting age from 21 to 18. Young men were furious that they could be drafted to fight in Vietnam at 18, but couldn't even vote at that age.
  • Hey there little lady. I'm a soldier. Mind if I live here indefinitely?
  • Yeeeaah, I don't think so, creepy dude. Get off my property.
  • The 8th Amendment insured that criminals could not be treated to excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel or unusual punishment. This Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights, proposed by Anti-Federalists to guarantee the rights of The People.
  • Anthony Adams
  • Mr. Mosher's Honors Gov.
  • The 21st Amendment repealed the prohibition of alcohol. After the 18th Amendment, which prohibited all alcohol in the US, bootleggers began trafficking and selling huge amounts of beer and liquor all around the country, completely negating the point of prohibition and increasing crime rates, with people still drinking just as much as before.
  • The 3rd Amendment prevents soldiers from forcibly quartering in a citizen's home without their consent. This Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights because it was applicable at the time, but very rarely does it have any effect in the contemporary US.
  • Period 6
