  • NO... I AM!
  • ???
  • NO, I AM!
  • I will give you the most beautiful woman on earth!
  • I will give you worldly wisdom!
  • I will give you military glory!
  • Everyone go to your ships! We will fight to the death until we get Helen back!
  • Once there was a wedding on Mount Olympus. The goddess of discord, angry she wasn't  invited to the celebration, threw a golden apple into the party that said "For the Fairest". This created and argument between three goddesses.
  • To the boats!
  • None of the gods, not even Zeus, wanted to make such a fragile decision.  To solve the dispute, they gave the decision to Paris. He was a mortal and the prince of Troy. All three of the goddesses bribed Paris with different things. In the end he chose Aphrodite and the most beautiful woman in the world.

  • So, Paris went to Greece to claim Helen, the most beautiful woman in the world. When he got there, Helen was getting married to another man. She fell in love with him however, and they both ran away to Troy. When Menelaus realized that his wife was gone, he called all of the Greek kings to war against Troy.
  • Let's take it into the city!
  • The Greeks deserted me. They gave the war up and left. That horse is a sacrifice.
  • The Greeks gathered thousands of boats to sail to Troy. Unfortunately, the goddess Athena created a storm that blew up and kept the Greeks from leaving. To settle the storm, the Greek commander had to sacrifice his daughter. After that, they sailed to Troy.
  • After ten long years of fighting the Trojans, the Greeks were no better off than when they started. All that happened was that they lost hundreds of Soldiers. Odysseus came up with a plan to defeat the Trojans once and for all. So, he gathered the commanders together to tell them about the Trojan Horse.
  • The Greek soldiers took the boats the they didn't need any more and built the Trojan Horse out of wood. They put fifty soldiers in the horse, left it outside the city and the rest of the army got in their boats and pretended to leave. One Greek soldier was left to lie and convince the Trojans to take the horse into the city.
